Anticipation is building as in less than two weeks our Narnia Musical will be performed! Over 60 students from grades 5-8, and grade 4 as the choir, are involved!
As you can imagine our students and staff spend a lot of time getting ready for the musical, so why do we invest so much time in this?
- To celebrate the gifts of the fine arts, our students praise our Father through these gifts.
- Students can develop their gifts, whether they are artistic – drama and singing, or technical – sound, lighting and set.
- The Narnia musical is a based on the Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, which includes the well-known “The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe”, a beautiful allegory of the sacrificial love of Christ for us.
- Students join in cross-grade teamwork as they practice, preserve and perform together.
